Tahini Chicken Schnitzel

JUMP TO RECIPE

If you love crispy chicken, this one’s worth a try. Instead of the usual egg wash, we’re using a creamy tahini vinaigrette to marinate and coat the chicken before frying. It keeps the chicken super juicy and adds a subtle sesame flavor that makes the whole thing feel a little more special without being complicated. Finish it with a drizzle of extra vinaigrette and some fresh herbs, and you’ve got a schnitzel you’ll want to make again and again.

Recipe from co-founder and CEO's cookbook, The Tahini Table.
Who doesn’t love fried chicken? For me, American fried chicken is surpassed
only by Israeli chicken schnitzel, which in Israel is eaten every which way. Here
we use tahini vinaigrette instead of a traditional egg wash and the outcome is
a pretty sophisticated Schnitz. - Amy Zitelman
