Tahini Apple Crumble

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
¾ cup brown sugar
¾ cup Soom Premium or Organic Tahini, plus more for a topping
5-6 peeled & sliced apples
1 cup of your favorite jam (apple, apricot, or raspberry work well)
optional: vanilla ice cream, to serve
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8x8" or 9" round baking dish.
Make the crumble topping: In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and tahini until a crumbly texture forms. Set aside.
Separately, combine apple slices with your preferred jam in a baking dish or pan and mix thoroughly.
Sprinkle the tahini crumble mixture evenly over the apple filling. Drizzle an extra spoonful or two of tahini over the top for added richness.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling underneath.
Serve warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you please!

Hi Marilyn, thanks for your comment, we’re glad you think so! Bonne Maman is a great brand for jams and they have many flavors to choose from. You could try this recipe using Fig, Cherry, or their seasonal Pumpkin Spice Spread. Apple Butter would also be a great choice to play up the apple flavor.
