Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk of choice
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp white miso
1 tbsp maple syrup (plus more for topping, if desired)
1 Tbsp SoomPremium orOrganic Tahini (plus more for drizzling)
3-4 chopped pitted dates (we loveJoolies!)
Chopped walnuts
Sliced bananas
Pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Drizzle of tahini
Extra maple syrup

Directions
In a small saucepan, combine the oats, milk, cinnamon, salt, chia seeds, and chopped dates. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
Cook the oatmeal, stirring frequently, until the oats are tender and the dates soften and blend into the mixture (about 5–7 minutes). If the oatmeal becomes too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the miso, maple syrup, and tahini until fully incorporated. Taste and adjust the sweetness or saltiness to your preference.
Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl and add your favorite toppings, such as walnuts, bananas, pepitas, or an extra drizzle of tahini and maple syrup.
