I love this book! I'm so glad that I included it in my first Soom Foods order a few months ago. (I've since placed two more orders for tahini and silan.) I've been reading and collecting cookbooks for almost a half century. "The Tahini Table" is one of the best cookbooks I've purchased in the past five years. The required ingredients are easily accessible. The instructions are clear, approachable, and accurate. That makes it a great book for new home cooks. For those of us who are more veteran cooks, this book serves as a creative springboard. As I read through the recipes, I thought about how to transform my current recipe repertoire to include tahini and silan. TIP: Before embarking on your journey, please read the Introduction and Chapter One. You'll learn some really cool stuff about the company and about tahini and other pantry ingredients. Bon appétit!
The photos make you want to make everything and the recipes live up to the pictures! I’ve made several recipes and have loved them. The beet hummus is amazing as if the roasted carrot Tahini. I also loved mom’s chicken and took the suggestion of using leftover chicken for chicken salad. Both excellent!
