Ingredients
1 stick (110g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
-
1/2 cup Soom Premium or Organic Tahini
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 & 1/3 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
5.3 oz (150g) dark/milk chocolate, chopped, or chocolate chips
1/2 cup Valentine’s sprinkles
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F
In a stand mixer with a flat beater or with a hand mixer, beat butter, tahini, and sugars until smooth.
Add the egg, salt, and vanilla. Increase the speed, beating until fluffy.
Turn off the mixer and add the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Then, mix on low speed until everything is combined.
Using a spatula, fold in the chocolate and sprinkles until evenly spread.
Place the dough in the refrigerator and let it chill for 1 hour. Using a cookie scoop, form balls of dough and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring proper spacing.
Bake for 10–14 minutes until lightly golden and the tops are crackly. Let the cookies cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
