Tahini Royal Icing
Vegan, Gluten Free, Nut Free
about 1 ½ cups of icing, or enough to decorate 1 dozen cookies
1 cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp Soom Premium or Organic Tahini
2 Tbsp milk of choice
Optional: food coloring
Place powdered sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Add vanilla, tahini, and milk. Whisk to combine. Add more powdered sugar for a thicker consistency, or more milk to thin it out.
Using a small butter knife or offset spatula, spread icing over cooled cookies. Icing can be divided and colored with a few drops of food coloring.
Allow icing to harden before stacking cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
