Whipped Tahini Feta Toast
breakfast, snack, dessert, lunch
about 2 cups of whipped feta
10-12 ounce feta block (not crumbled), room temperature
4 Tbsp cream cheese, room temperature
4 Tbsp Soom Premium or Organic Tahini
1 Tbsp raw honey (optional for a sweet version)
1-3 Tbsp cold water
Toasted sourdough bread slices
Sliced figs and honey
Avocado and radish slices
Roasted cherry tomatoes and olive oil
Extra tahini drizzle and fresh herbs
Whipped Tahini Feta

Place feta, cream cheese, tahini, and honey, if using, into a food processor and pulse until smooth. Slowly add 1 Tbsp of water at a time until a creamy consistency is reached. The texture will be smooth with some feta chunks still visible.
Serve on top of toast and get creative with your toppings! We love sliced figs, honey and extra tahini! Or serve as a dip with tahini, herbs, and sea salt with crackers or crostini.
Tip: to bring feta and cream cheese to room temperature, place it in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds on low to medium power.
Dairy-free option: use dairy-free cream cheese and vegan feta cheese. We tested Violife brand with great results.
Storage: Whipped tahini feta stays fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
