Make the Best Bowl of Oatmeal!

Make the Best Bowl of Oatmeal!

January is National Oatmeal Month so we had to put together a few of our favorite tips
for how to craft a perfect bowl of oatmeal!

Chocolate Tahini over Oatmeal  Oat Breakfast Cookies  Dark Chocolate Tahini with Sea Salt drizzled over oatmeal  Chocolate Tahini Oat Pancakes

  • Save your almost empty jar of tahini and make overnight oats directly in the jar! Don’t let any of that precious tahini go to waste! Try  Nature’s Path Old Fashioned Oats for a hearty punch of protein!
  • For a breakfast good enough to be dessert, add a teaspoon of instant coffee and one tablespoon of  Dark Chocolate Tahini with Sea Salt for tiramisu inspired oats!
  • Caramelize sliced bananas on the stove in a bit of coconut oil and maple syrup for a bananas foster inspired oatmeal bowl. Stir in some chocolate chips and  Premium Tahini for extra flavor and nutrition!
  • Try out this recipe for super easy Tahini Breakfast Cookies! Simply mix the wet ingredients together and then fold in the oats and chocolate chips. Bake them at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes.
  • Grab your favorite bowl from the cupboard and make an oatmeal sundae! Top oatmeal with sliced fruit, nuts, and a drizzle of  Chocolate Tahini. If you’re feeling extra fancy, add whipped cream or yogurt on top! (Parent tip: this is a fantastic way to get kids involved. Set up bowls of toppings and let them pile on their favorites!)
  • Blend it up! Oats make a great flour substitute for muffins and baked oatmeal. If you’re curious, try out these  Tahini Chocolate Chip Blender Muffins or  Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal
  • Don’t stop there, turn your oatmeal into pancakes! Check out this super easy recipe for a batch of Chocolate Tahini Oat Pancakes. Mix the wet ingredients together and fold in the dry ingredients. Cook on the stovetop and serve with an extra drizzle of  Dark Chocolate Tahini with Sea Salt, sliced fruit, or even yogurt!
    • ½ cup rolled oats
    • ½ cup oat flour
    • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • ¾ cup almond milk
    • 1 flax egg
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 tbsp maple syrup

I agree with Robert. We don’t recipes that turn out so sweet. Some fruit is all we need.

these oatmeal and other recipes are far too sweet; no need for all the sugar and sweeteners whatever their source. just use fresh or even dried fruits
